Reservoir Dogs — directed by Quentin Tarantino, as a desk mat. Every stripe is one frame of the film, sampled from the first shot to the last and averaged into a single color, so the mat reads left to right as the film’s color story.
Andrzej Sekula shot Reservoir Dogs in Super 35 on slow 50-ASA Kodak EXR 5245 film, a choice made so the colors would pop. He picked spherical lenses for greater depth of field and a more three-dimensional look.
A time scale runs along the edge so you can find any scene. Large and XXL carry the full credits block — director, cinematographer, camera, runtime, box office and the film’s six-color palette. Medium and Small keep it to the title and palette.
Two colorways, Cream and Black, in Small, Medium, Large and XXL, in DuraGlyde™, AeroGlyde™ and StablGlyde™.
